Artesian Solutions Wins 2018 Lord Mayor’s City Giving Day Award for the Best Collaboration

LONDON, England, October 25, 2018 – Artesian Solutions is pleased to have been presented with the Lord Mayor’s City Giving Day award for the Best Collaboration following its ‘Brain of the City’ Quiz hosted in partnership with Digital Consultancy Synechron and law firm Pinsent Masons.

Attended by 120 quizzers and raising over £2,000, the event has helped raise vital funds for this year’s Lord Mayor’s Appeal charities – Place2Be, OnSide Youth Zones and the Samaritans.

The Lord Mayor’s City Giving Day celebrates the value of the City to society, and champions the activities, including CSR, philanthropy, and volunteering, that companies do to support charity, society, their local communities and the environment in which they work.

Charles Bowman, Lord Mayor of the City of London, recently commented about City Giving Day saying: “There is really valuable work being done by City firms, benefitting society through business volunteering, fundraising events and philanthropic work. City Giving Day is a chance to shout out about this vital work, whilst at the same time encouraging others to get involved.  It’s clear to see that many firms are now making responsible business programmes and philanthropic activity a core part of their purpose, a rising trend which looks set to increase.

Artesian’s Nick Boardman hosted the event as quizmaster. On accepting the award, he commented: “This was our first time participating in the Lord Mayor’s City Giving Day and we’re thrilled that our team of volunteers from Artesian, Synechron and Pinsent Masons have been recognised for all of the hard work they put into making the event a success. City Giving Day encompasses a fantastic series of events throughout the Capital and we were glad to be a part of it.”

Artesian is delighted to have taken part in City Giving Day 2018 alongside our friends at Synechron and Pinsent Masons and we look forward to getting involved again in 2019.
